
Army Sgt. Laurence Cameron of the North Carolina National Guard’s Battery B, 113th Field Artillery, 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team, has been known as “Dawg Medic” since the beginning of his deployment. While on patrol south of Baghdad on June 20, 2009, the Rock Hill, S.C., native lived up to his name when he gave intravenous fluids to a Military Working Dog on the mission.
